Watercolor Masking (Part 2)

I wasn't happy with the way my watercolor making project turned out, so I tried again. 

You can tell what the image is this time, but I do think this is a technique I need to practice a little more.

Today is day 5 of the Spring Card Camp class I am taking at onlinecardclasses.com.

Todays class was taught by Debby Hughes.  My problem with this card was I don't own any design die cuts.  I own words, shapes,  or die cuts that go around images.  Maybe I am lacking some creativity-  I've been closed in for 3 weeks now thanks to the Corona Virus!  I know excuses, excuses!  So I tried to use a word and the color seeped underneath the word and made it harder to tell what the word was, so I ended up placing the die cut over the top.  I am still happy with the card.

I used Hero Arts May 2017 Stamp of the month.  I used Copic markers to color the stamps.

Faux Embossing Folders

Usually I don't have tons of time, however, because of CoronaVirus it has opened up my schedule a whole lot and made it so I am currently unable to work.  I decided to take a class-Spring Card Camp at onlinecardclasses.com, taught by some of my favorite card makers.  This is the first card from  first class "Faux Embossing Folders" taught by Jennifer McGuire.
